Our Mums & Bubs classes at Our Place are designed especially for the season of life you’re in right now. The one where sleep is a little unpredictable, your body is still finding its way back and sometimes you just need a reason to leave the house that isn’t a grocery run.
This is your space to move, breathe and reconnect with yourself, while your little one stays close by.
No pressure. No expectations. Just supportive movement, understanding instructors, and a room full of mums who know exactly what this chapter feels like.
We have three Our Bubs classes on the timetable and these reformer Pilates classes are carefully designed for postpartum Mums in postpartum bodies. We focus on rebuilding strength, reconnecting with your core and helping you feel strong and supported again.

Our intimate studio of just 8 reformers means smaller classes, more personal guidance and instructors who genuinely know your name, remember your story and can even tell if you’ve had your coffee yet.
Babies are welcome right beside your reformer, whether they’re sleeping, watching, feeding or needing a cuddle. Our instructors understand that babies do baby things, and that’s completely okay here.

Most mums begin once they’ve had their 6 week postnatal check and clearance from their healthcare provider. If you had a C-section or any complications, your recovery may take a little longer. We always recommend checking with your doctor or women’s health physio first.

Not at all. Our instructors guide you through everything and offer plenty of options so you can move at a pace that feels right for you.

Babies are babies and we expect that. Feeding, cuddling, rocking or taking a moment to settle your little one is completely normal here. There’s zero pressure to keep moving if your baby needs you. Our instructors are always up for a baby cuddle too, if that’s something you feel comfortable with.

Your baby will be right beside your reformer in their pram, capsule, bassinet or on a mat next to you. Many babies sleep through the class, others enjoy watching the room or checking themselves out in the floor-to-ceiling mirrors.

Most babies are newborn to pre-crawling, usually around 6 weeks to 9 months. Once babies become very mobile it can be trickier to keep them safe around the equipment and we want to ensure their safety at all times.

Because this is a 4 week introductory series, we encourage mums to attend each week if possible. If you are unable to make it to a class one week, you are welcome to book into two classes the next week. We offer three Our Bubs classes per week.
